Privacy Policy

ColdWire ("the game", "we") is a mobile strategy game. The short version: we store the minimum needed to run an online game — an account handle and your game progress — and nothing else. No ads, no tracking, no selling data.

What we collect

Account data. When you create an agent you choose a handle and a password. We do not ask for or store your real name, email address, phone number, or any contact details. (Internally, our authentication provider requires an email format, so a synthetic address derived from your handle — e.g. handle@coldwire.io — is generated. It is not a real mailbox and is never used to contact you.)

Game data. Your progress and activity: credits, upgrades, tools, contracts, heat/notoriety, subnet layout, raid history and replays, crew membership and crew messages, daily streaks, and similar gameplay records. Some of this (handle, crew tag, leaderboard score, raid outcomes) is visible to other players — that is the multiplayer part of the game.

Technical data. Standard server logs (timestamps, request metadata) kept by our backend provider for security and abuse prevention (rate limiting, anti-cheat validation).

What we do NOT collect

• No real names, emails, phone numbers, or contacts
• No precise or coarse location
• No advertising identifiers; the game contains no ads and no third-party ad SDKs
• No analytics/tracking SDKs in this build
• No access to your photos, camera, microphone, or files

Where data lives

Game data is stored with Supabase (our backend provider) and protected by row-level security; all traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Economy actions are validated server-side — this is both anti-cheat and a data-integrity measure.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Inactive accounts may be removed after an extended period.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated game data at any time. Deletion removes your player record, wallet, progress, subnet, raid history, and crew membership.

Use the Request deletion button below to open a pre-filled email to info@coldwiregame.com with your handle. You can also email us directly with your agent handle. Requests are processed manually; we will confirm once your data is wiped.

Children

ColdWire is not directed at children under 13, and the stores list it with a teen-appropriate rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the game collects no personal information from anyone beyond a self-chosen handle.

Purchases

The current build contains no real-money purchases. When token packs launch, purchases will be processed entirely by Apple App Store / Google Play — we never see or store payment details. This policy will be updated at that time.

Changes

We'll update this page and the effective date when anything changes materially.
